GATE is the first step in the path towards securing admission for post graduate courses in various engineering and pharmacy colleges in India. The post GATE admission process in these institutes is as complicated and competitive, if not more, as GATE itself.

The post GATE admission process in Indian Institutes of Technologies, Indian Institution of Science and NITs involves a complicated selection and evaluation process where the best institutes and also the best candidates try and identify the best fit for their requirements and aspirations. However, unlike GATE, success in this process requires you to have two important knowledge bases – One, technical expertise and two, detailed information about availability of courses, their interview and test process / cut off marks and closing dates. If you are sure of getting a top 25 rank in your stream, then life is going to be easier for you. Just walk in, and take admission in the revered Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
