The test papers have been designed and created by a team of experts, ably guided by an advisory board. The advisory board has a judicious mixture of senior academicians who have years of experience in this field and young geniuses who have recently cracked GATE.

Dr Shrikant K Bhave
He has served the industry in his various roles as an Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engg. H. B. Technological Institute, Kanpur (1966-1976), General Manager, BHEL R&D, Hyderabad (1976 - 1996) and Head of Technology & Innovation Centre at Larsen & Toubro Limited, Baroda (1996 - 2002).

He has over 80 papers in international conferences, journals in the areas of power plant engineering, failure analysis, Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle Power and Co-generation plant, biomass gasification etc.

He is the co-author of the book ‘Vibration and Oscillation of Hydraulic Machinery’ published by editorial board International Committee on Book Series in Hydraulic Machinery, Beijing, published by Gower Press (UK).

Dr Yadunandana N Rao
Dr. Rao is a Phd in Electrical Engineering from University of Florida, Gainesville, and has to his credit over 20 publications. He is currently working as a Research Engineer in Motorola.

Dr Srinivas Narasimhan
Dr Srinivas Narasimhan has done his PhD in Computer Science from Columbia University. Currently he works as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Dept, Carnegie Mellon University.

The Promoters

Abhijit Choudhari, a graduate in manufacturing engineering, completed his postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, class of 2003. He was working as a Product Manager in the Anand Group before he quit to set up GATEForum.

Aditya Reddy, after completing his Mechanical engineering, he went on to do his postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, class of 2003. He has varied experience in the field of Sales and Marketing, having worked for the UB Group.

Shantanu Sikdar spent 1 year pursuing his BMD at XLRI. After completing a year, he chose to drop out to start GATEForum. He has over 2 years of experience in recruitment, competence assessment and competence mapping.

Chandan Kumar Jha after having completed his Engineering, has worked in manufacturing industry and service sector for about 4 years, in companies like Fomas India Limited, and ADDR Technologies.
