Civil, Chemical, Computer Science and Information technology, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Metallurgy.

Graduate Engineers from these disciplines, desirous of taking up a career with IndianOil, are required to appear in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2012. Short listing of the candidates for interview and further selection process, will be based on GATE-2012 scores. (GATE 2011 scores not valid).

Application Process:
Candidates who wishes to apply for the position of engineering in IndianOil may log on to IndianOil's web site www.iocl.com for details regarding prescribed educational qualification, age, eligibility criteria, application procedure etc.

Candidates have to apply to IndianOil ONLINE separately using GATE-2012 registration number. The online application will start from 2nd January 2012.

Commencement of Online GATE Application submission	17th October, 2011
Receipt of printed Version of ONLINE application at respective zonal GATE offices	24th October, 2011
Downloading of Admit card from GATE-2012 website	2nd January, 2012
IndianOil’s Application Module to go ONLINE	2nd January,2012
Last Date for applying to IndianOil	11th February , 2012
GATE-2012 Examination (OFFLINE)	12th February , 2012
