General FAQ's:
No. A copy of eTutor DVD can be installed and activated on one computer only. If you want to install it on multiple computers then please purchase new eTutor DVD.
The eTutor DVD is valid till the end of February 2012 and total play hours are 400 hours.
Please download CD Check from the Quick Links and email us the error report to etutor@gateforum.com
Installation FAQ's:
Open "My Computer", right click on the DVD icon and select "Exlpore". In the DVD Folder, locate the file named "eTutorLauncher.exe". Right click and select "Run as Admin".
Please check if your DVD drive works. If your DVD drive is in working condition but you cannot access eTutor DVD then
download CD Check and run it against eTutor DVD. If you find any errors, please email
support@gateforum.com.
Please make sure to enter the product key (along with the hyphens) as it is on the eTutor DVD cover.
- Please download the .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 from the below web link. http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=22
- The installer will help you with the setup to install. If you do not have internet, then on the etutor DVD, Please navigate to the following path
- DotNetFX35SP1 and click on dotNetFx35Setup.exe to install .NET.
Activation FAQ's:
- Turn off any Anti virus or firewall software installed on your system till eTutor is activated.
- Right click on eTutor desktop icon and select Properties.
- On the Properties window, click on Compatibility tab. Select the Checkbox “Run this program as Administrator”. Click on Apply and Ok.
- Open eTutor and retry the activation process.
We allow etutor DVD activation on only one computer. If you are activating on the same computer and you still received the error, please email your student registration. To do so, please do the following:
- Double click on eTutor icon on desktop
- Enter all details correctly. The Roll Number should be the same as on your printed receipt.
- On "Email Registration" tab.
- Click save email registration file button which will prompt you to save the file on your desktop - click ok.
- Send this file via email to Gateforum : etutor@gateforum.com
- We will send you an activation file which can be downloaded and saved on your desktop.
- Double-click on eTutor icon on the desktop, and in activation Tab click browse and select the new activation file. Click finish to activate your copy.
Open up Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Gateforum ETutor and uninstall eTutor application from your computer. After uninstall, please reinstall and send us your email registration file.
No need to worry. Once your system is back up, reinstall Gateforum eTutor and send us your email registration file. Provided your hardware details are the same, we can send you a new activation key.
Please check if your computer’s date is set to current date. If it is not set to current date, then change your system date to current date and resend your email registration key to
support@gateforum.com . If your date is current but you got this error, then send us a mail mentioning the error to
support@gateforum.com

eTutor Video FAQ's:
Please download this installer and run it from your desktop. An adobe flash installer is launched for which, you need to accept the licence agreement and complete the installation.
- If you are installing on Windows 7 (64 bit), navigate to C:\Programs\Gateforum eTutor\Flash and run the Flash 64 bit installer file.
For Windows 7 ( 32 bit), navigate to C:\Programs\Gateforum eTutor\Flash and run the Flash32 installer.
- If you are having Flash player installation issues, please see Flash Support
- If you are installing on Windows 7 (64 bit), navigate to C:\Programs\Gateforum eTutor\Flash and run the Flash 64 bit installer file.
For Windows 7 ( 32 bit), navigate to C:\Programs\Gateforum eTutor\Flash and run the Flash32 installer.
- If the above does not work, download the batch file link here, Save the file to desktop, for Windows 7 or Vista users, righ click the batch file and select Run as Admin. For windows XP, run the batch file directly. You will be alerted with Flash dll has been registered, click ok.
Note: You may see a message telling you that dll file has been registered, click OK.
- Open eTutor and check if the error is gone.

- Right click on Gateforum eTutor dekstop icon and select "properties".
- From the tabs displayed, select "Compatability" tab.
- On compatibility tab, select the checkbox "Run this program as Administrator" and click apply.
