IIT Kanpur invites applications from Indian Nationals for the various posts in Administrative and Technical Cadre. Applications should be send latest by 25th April 2011. All the posts are from Group A, B and C.

Job Details :

Name of the post: Assistant Security Officer
Qualification: (i) Graduate with 4 years relevant experience, (ii) Should have Military or NCC and Fire Fighting training and (iii) Be able to ride light vehicles/ motor cycle and handle fire arms and having sound health and active habits.
Pay Scale: PB-2:Rs.9300-34800 with GP: Rs.4200

Name of the post: Junior Technical Superintendent.
Qualification: M.Sc. in appropriate field/ B.Tech./ B.E., or B.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ appropriate field with 02 years relevant experience.
Pay Scale: PB-2:Rs.9300-34800 with GP: Rs.4200

Name of the post: Junior Technician
Qualification: B.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/Mathematics/ appropriate field, OR BCA, OR Diploma in Engineering subject of 03 years duration in appropriate field
Pay Scale: PB-1:Rs.5200-20200 with GP: Rs.2000

Name of the post: Junior Assistant
Qualification: Bachelors Degree with knowledge of computer applications
Pay Scale: PB-1:Rs.5200-20200 with GP: Rs.2000
