Scope Of Work

Technical Course Related

Gateforum is into all preparatory arenas for GATE exam, and includes online and offline activities. We constantly are looking for people with diverse backgrounds having excellent domain knowledge who can contribute to our excellent course content and delivery. Our assignments can mostly be taken on a freelancing / part time basis.

• Classroom Coaching : If you are excellent at teaching Engineering subjects and have exceptional command in your areas(sections of syllabus of GATE for a stream), you are welcome to contact us at any time. This is usually not a full time assignment. You need to be available at weekends when your classes will be scheduled.


• Correspondence Courses : Gateforum is constantly working to improve the course content quality. If you have exceptional command over the Engineering Subjects / Sections of those subjects; if you are good at framing questions which force the students to think, you are welcome to join hands with us.


• Online Classroom : We record sessions for the entire classroom coaching sessions of about 250 hours per stream. The recordings happen at our workstations (computers) at our offices. Kindly contact any of our offices if you would be interested for one or more section(s) of thesyllabus.


• Tests : We generate a lot of questions for our tests to quiz our students for their knowledge in various domains. Making questions is a skill in itself and demands a thorough knowledge of the subject. Tests are conducted online and offline(in over 30 cities)


• On and off, there are many other opportunities that mostly fall into the miscellaneous category. e.g. Seminars and presentations, Informal lectures, etc.

Software-related Jobs

Gateforum is now into online tests and online classroom coaching. We require people with excellent knowledge in web technologies such as PHP, MySQL and Flash. These are very generic technologies, hence an in-depth understanding and proven expertise in above is mandatory. Prior knowledge of Web hosting, Web design, and related technologies will be an added advantage. Prior experience in an education firm will be an added advantage.

Non Technical Jobs

The following positions exist currently in Gateforum :

• Faculty
  A full time responsibility, it would involve taking classes for GATE, making training manuals, updating online tutorial content etc.
  Subjects
  Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical
  Requirements
  ME/M.Tech/MS from a reputed institute with experience in teaching for GATE. Freshers with good communication skills, subject knowledge and grasp are also welcome to apply. Absolutely essential is a passion for teaching.
  Locations
  Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.


• Freelancers/Part timers for content creation and review and as faculty for our classroom coaching modules in various cities.


• Subject Matter Experts : Should have very high GATE Scores preferably a percentile of 98+. Prior experience in teaching etc. an added advantage. Positions available in the subjects of Computer Science, Electronics and Communication and Pharmacy. Location – Kolkata
